            1) Freedom of choice
            2) Age appropriate dresses
            3) Twirl factor

How did you create the concept for Style for Grace?
The foundation of Style for Grace is built on three important elements:

1) Freedom of choice.

Style for Grace is built on choice.  The hallmark of our business is to offer what very few do -- freedom for customers to combine fabrics to create one-of-kind dresses. Style for Grace provides six dresses as  blank canvases then customers take full control of fabric selection.  When asked, we will offer our opinions or make a recommendation, but utlimately, the opinions of customers and the girls wearing the dresses are most important. At Style for Grace, rest assured that once you place an order, we follow the fabric selections you choose to create your one-of-a-kind dress.

2) Age appropriate dresses.

Whether your fashion sense is simple or trendy, our dress silhouettes are classic in design. Style for Grace took great strides when designing the dresses to ensure they were age appropriate for girls. All Style for Grace dresses have finishing lengths that fall slightly below or above the knee.  If you have concerns over finishing lengths, please e-mail us at design@styleforgrace.com or call us during our business hours at 518.429.1828.

3) Twirl factor.

Style for Grace dresses are fun and admittedly, some twirl better than others. To determine how much or how little twirl you need, consult the twirl rating of each dress. Ratings for each dress can be found in every dress description - just look for the stars! Our five-point rating system is just another way to help customers select a dress.

Twirl Factor Rating Table
Star Rating Rating Description Recommendation
1 star Offers very little twirl. Wear bright-colored, sequined or tap dancing shoes. If you decide to dance, the noise from your happy feet will definitely compliment your fabulous dress. Just ask Grace!
2 stars Offers below average twirl. Save up your twirls for the right moment. Here are a few suggestions: enter the classroom with a twist followed by a twirl; or upon receiving your graduation diploma, do a twirl for the camera; or when you arrive at the park, jump and twirl your way to the swings!
3 stars Average Twirl. Balance is important so for every twirl be sure to add a smile, wave or skip. Accessorize with a lollypop diamond ring and your favorite pair of sunglasses too!
4 stars Above average twirl. Get ready to have fun! Above average twirling will leave others envious. Be sure to bring your camera to capture your best twirls!
5 stars Optimal twirl. Twirl as much as possible, but make sure you take a break to garner compliments on your Style for Grace dress!

How much do dresses cost? How long does it take to receive my dress(es) once my order is placed?
Depending on the dress size, prices are either $89 (sizes 2T to 6) or $109 (sizes 7 to 14). Typically dresses take 3-4 weeks to cut, sew and ship. If you need a dress sooner, please e-mail us at design@styleforgrace.com. However, we charge a $35 rush order fee on any orders with deadlines before the 3-4 week window. Please note, during peak times throughout the year, our ability to accommodate rush orders can be difficult. However, we will do our best, but rush order requests are not always granted.

Do you accept custom orders?
Actually, we think Style for Grace is a custom order business. Our entire design center was created to provide custom, one-of-a-kind dresses for girls.

Currently, Style for Grace offers six dresses and 45 ever-changing fabrics. In the future, we plan to offer even more dresses and fabrics, so please check in periodically.

We are always looking for new dress design ideas so if you are looking for a specific dress design not currently offered in our collection, please e-mail: design@styleforgrace.com and we will take your suggestions under review.

Do you have pre-made dresses available for immediate purchase?
We love the idea of instant gratification, but currently we do not carry pre-made dresses. Our business philosophy is to place creativity in the customer’s hands.  However, if you are having trouble with designing a dress and would like a second opinion, please send us an e-mail to design@styleforgrace.com  or contact us Monday – Friday 10 a.m – 5 p.m. EST.

How often do your fabrics change?
Style for Grace currently offers 45 ever-changing fabrics and plan to expand our selection in the future. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy mixing and match fabrics from our entire collection.

Please note, some fabrics have a short shelf life while we may carry others for multiple seasons.  If you are absolutely in love with a fabric, we strongly recommend not waiting to design a dress.

Where are dresses sewn?
Style for Grace is proud that all the dresses are made in the United States.

How do I launder my dress?
All fabrics available at Style for Grace are 100% cotton.  In order to retain their bright color and to prevent fabrics from bleeding, it is strongly recommended that you launder your Style for Grace dress in cold water using the gentle cycle setting or by hand washing in cold water. For best results, lay flat to dry.

How accurate are the fabric colors online?
The dresses and fabrics featured on the Style for Grace Web site are individually photograph so depending on the light in the room and/or the color and contrast settings of your computer, the colors and tones that you see on your monitor may vary slightly from the physical fabric.
