Mothers and Grandmothers who envision their daughter or granddaughter wearing their wedding dress, now has the opportunity to see that happen. Whether you’d like to convert your wedding dress into a christening gown, first birthday dress, first communion dress, or flower girl dress, Style for Grace is here to help.
The Style for Grace Heirloom Dress Transformation experience is broken down into three stages:
Consultation 1: We begin with a consultation to discuss your wedding dress and what you want it transformed into. From there, Style for Grace creates a series of design sketches for you to consider. For you, if we are doing your consultation over the phone, we ask that you send your wedding gown to Style for Grace headquarters.
Consultation 2: We meet again and review the dress sketches. Measurements are taken at this meeting. Once a design is selected, Style for Grace begins deconstructing your wedding dress.
Transformation Complete: Between the time of the second consultation and the final visit, Style for Grace has deconstructed your wedding dress and transformed it for your child’s special occasion!
Pricing
For the heirloom dress transformation experience, the complexity of the wedding dress plays an enormous part in the final cost. Our standard labor rate is $50.00 hour.
With this in mind, you can expect to pay the following minimums if you choose to have Style for Grace transform your wedding dress into an Heirloom Dress:
- Labor – $340.00 base, increases occur for deconstructing beadwork and other wedding gown detailed embellishments
- Supplies to finish an Heirloom Dress – $10.00 and up
- Minimum Gown Price Starts at $350.00
- Average Heirloom Dress price at $400.00
